Selena Quintanilla Documentary
READ: The film was edited by myself. I decided to focus on her life rather than her death. Though her murder and murderer are quickly covered, I did not want to make the video about Selena's tragic ending. Rather, I wanted to honor the life of the singer who taught everyone, that the impossible is always possible.

first, selena is an angel in heaven. she was a wonderful person and lady. read more of the "men" in her life that today media tells you were so protective of selena years ago. they all (the father, brother, sister, husband and yes even dear selena) knew that yolanda was a criminal, dirty, stealing money AND a few days after this selena told her brother (Junior) that she saw that yolanda bought a firearm. and that selena told yolanda to get rid of it. that is shown by yolanda returning the gun and then re-buying it around the 25th of march. listen-all the men failed selena. particularly her father, chris was a nobody a 24yr guy that played guitar and hung out with selena..so he can not be held as responsible as the father should be. the father KNEW how dirty yolanda was since january 1995...and never once. EVER took steps to tell his young 23yoa daughter to not meet with her. OR this great "father" could of paid off yolanda with a lawyer (like the other case) and yolanda would of never been seen again. the father is expected at like 52yoa at that time to be the mature leader. he failed. personally i think the father was too busy with music gigs, CDs and counting concert cash. not that he did not love or care for his daughter. he was stupid and dumb and did not protect her. even the loving "husband" chris drove selena to meet with this known dangerous criminal at the sleazy hotel that the next day selena was killed at. did this husband that media says is so "great" get out of the truck and go in the motel room on march 30th as to buffer and protect his wife? not a chance. 9pm at night chris is chillin in the truck with AC and music on while selena, by her self, walks to the motel to meet with yolanda some 20m away. since yolanda saw chris did not care and sate in the truck yollanda BS's selena and says she had been raped in mexico days before and for selena to come ALONE the next day to take yolanda to the hospital. we all know what happened then? again, where is this protective and great husband? chillin in the truck. personally i think the family today invites chris so it "looks" like the selena of the early 90s. he is re married and with kids in miami, fl. so much for his "love". he should not be associated with selena any more. his own choice. the above is truth and facts rarely spoken or written about.

At 8:05 when you mention the UK, as someone from the UK, I can't say I have ever met another british person that also knows about selena, the only people i've met here that know about her are those who came from spanish speaking countries themselves, and that's literally about three people

you have a very good point. for the past 30yrs nobody talks about it. media is making too much $ off selena and so is father, sister and ex husband. chirs is remarried with kids in miami, fl. once he remarried of his own free will he should not be at offical selena events. he is no longer a widower. the father, brother, sister, husband knew that yolanda was a criminal, dirty, stealing money AND a few days after this selena told her brother (Junior) that she saw that yolanda bought a firearm. and that selena told yolanda to get rid of it. that is shown by yolanda returning the gun and then re-buying it around the 25th of march. listen-all the men failed selena. particually her father, chris was a nobody a 24yr guy that played guitar and hung out with selena. the father KNEW how dirty yolanda was since january 1995...and never once. 9pm at night chris is chillin in the truck with AC and music on while selena, by her self, walks to the motel to meet with yolanda some 20m away. since yolanda saw chris did not care and sate in the truck yollanda BS's selena and says she had been raped in mexico days before and for selena to come ALONE the next day to take yolanda to the hospital. we all know what happened then? again, where is this great husband? chillin in the truck. personally i think the family today invites chris so it "looks" like the selena of the early 90s. he is re married and with kids in miami, fl. so much for his "love". he should not be associated with selena any more. his own choice. the above is truth and facts rarely spoken or written about.

She was poised to blow Madonna and everyone else out of the water. I really beleive she could have done it. And she was such a compassionate real person. What a beautiful influence she would have been for so long on kids.

Back then, I wondered why this woman would murder this young, talented, beautiful human being. Now I get why. That despicable lady was exactly like someone I used to be friends with, except he wasn't too obsessive, but envious, manipulative, revengeful, and often thought he was important. His problem was that whenever someone was the most favored amongst employers, he'd be jealous, and would always end up being fired. This lady was exactly the same. She took a life to get back at Selena's father. But Selena paid the price. 😢
